After avoiding this app for a few years, I unfortunately had to download it recently due to YouTube messing with stuff and causing issues with MyTube and making the site run like absolute garbage on the Edge browser. Not much has changed. An issue that has long persisted from previous versions of this app. And GIF thumbnails still remain an unchangable "feature. Or the image freezes, and audio continues playing.
Often results in YT sign out. Overall, this app still feels half-baked, and somehow third party versions run much better and have more features than this one. Still disappointing.
